If you are a member of the Hospitality industry or the Travel Trade and operate a hotel, hotel-apartment, organise tours, are a travel agent or organise events such as fashion shows, musicals, entertainment events, then DTCM can assist you with administrative requirements such as classification, issuing a licence or permit and giving approvals to ensure that you can provide the highest levels of service and customer satisfaction and yet operate within the rules and regulations laid down by the government of Dubai. Through law # 1 of 1997 the Government of Dubai has empowered DTCM with the following administrative responsibilities:
DTCM aims at enhancing the accommodation service level, facilitating the selection of accommodations suitable to every category of visitors, international tour and travel agencies. The current classification system ensures the availability of services and facilities in accordance with the expectations of such visitors.
DTCM is responsible for the administrative tasks related to the issuance of tourism licenses, follow-up with the licensing procedures comprising preliminary approvals, renewal, amendment and cancellation.
Permits and inspection
DTCM is responsible for administrative tasks related to the issuance of permanent/temporary tourism activity permits, follow-ups and inspections of such authorized activities to ensure their compliance with the laws and regulations implemented in Dubai.
