This was the second in the series of workshops to be conducted for the DTCM employees after the launch of the executive training programme in December last year. The programme has been designed to promote and develop leadership and management skills among the senior management team to achieve the department's vision and strategic objectives.
In October last year, DTCM signed up with DSG to provide executive education programme for its staff to enhance their professional skills and expertise in leadership and management.
Under the agreement, DSG will deliver an extensive and customized series of workshops in leadership competencies, management acumen, personal skills and integrated local and global knowledge forums. These workshops will benefit the middle and senior level employees.
The strategic partnership with DSG is in line with the DTCM’s commitment towards enhancing the professional skills and excellence culture of its human resources.
The programme will help prepare the UAE national employees cadres to be ready to take up higher job responsibilities in the future. The programme will help enhance the tourism product offering of Dubai and ensure even better quality of services to the tourists and visitors of the emirate.
DSG is a research and teaching institution focusing on public policy in the Arab world. Established in 2005 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in cooperation with the Harvard Kennedy School, DSG aims to promote good governance through enhancing the region’s capacity for effective public policy.
